Click Listing Creation
STEP 1
In your campaign, navigate to "Distribution" --> "Custom Endpoints". IF the click listing you are creating is that of a new buyer, click on the + Add Custom Endpoint button. If the buyer already exists with other click listings, you can skip this step and go straight into that endpoint
STEP 2
Once in the endpoint, select "Click Listing" and click the + Create Click Listing button which will prompt your click listing editor to open up.
STEP 3
In this view, you will be able to add all of your content as well as map out the fields you will be passing in the redirection. (*These fields and values will dynamically append in the redirect URL)
What information you can add in this step:
Redirect URL
Click Listing Image
Title and CTA's (Call to Action)
Field Mapping and Static Field Inputs
Listing Preview real time on desktop and mobile
**Important Note**
At minimum, you will need to map the "transaction_id" field to a field the click buyer will provide. This will be the only way to ensure you're able to attribute revenue and conversion metrics to your lead in Pingtree.
STEP 4
Once your click listing is created, you may navigate into the "Click Listing Filters" section of your custom endpoint. In this section, you will be able to apply your custom rules and filters for the click listing. These settings will determine how and when the listing is displayed on your offer wall.
STEP 5
Additionally, you will enable/disable your click listings from this "Click Listing Filters" section. In the upper right hand corner of this section, select the drop down to choose the appropriate click listing for this buyer/endpoint and toggle the enable button on/off.
Reminder: Click Listings are redirect click offers for buyers and one endpoint may contain numerous click listings.
Click Listing Integration Best Practices
Always confirm with the click listing buyer, which field you can map Pingtree's transaction_id to in order to ensure proper attribution.
Create an event specifically for your click listing conversions.
Provide the buyer with your global postback URL (found in your System Settings --> Event Management section)
Include the following parameters for the buyer to pass back to your campaign as a part of the postback URL you send them:
event_id={your event ID value} - This will be a static key:value pair for the buyer
transaction_id={unique lead ID} - This will be passed into whichever field they designate for you.
amount={payout amount} - This will generally be a dynamic value the buyer sends back and it will attribute revenue to that lead.
