What are Elements?

Elements in Pingtree's funnel builder are attributes or certain question types you can apply to your landing pages and forms.

Between Landing Page elements and Form Flow elements, there are multiple categories of element types.

In the Landing Page builder elements are separated into Data-Related elements (The top section) and Section Elements which are the design-related elements for your landing page theme (The bottom section).

In the Funnel Builder Form Flow, elements are separated into Form Elements and Step Elements

Elements in Funnel Builder Landing Pages

We will begin with the elements in the Landing Page builder. Pingtree gives users the ability to create and capture form and lead data on the landing page.

ELEMENTS

Text Element

This element allows users to add a basic text element to your landing page. Once added you can modify the text content and styling. (It's important to note that there is no lead data attribution option with this particular element)

Input Element

This element allows users to add input boxes into a form on your landing page. After adding this element, you may edit the settings of this element with attribution data to capture and store.

Dropdown Element

This element, much like the input element above, allows users to add in a dropdown menu to a form on the landing page. It also allows you to capture and store fields and values.

**Both Input and Dropdown elements can be used in landing pages to store data as well as pass through into your remaining funnel builder form.

SECTION ELEMENTS

Section elements allow users to make modifications to the theme of their landing page through the use of different sections on their landing page.

Headers

Within Headers, you will find a variety of styles and structures of headers you can add to your landing page theme - Once added, you will want to customize the content and copy of the header with your own brand logos, phone numbers, links etc... This will live on the top of your landing page and form themes.

Hero Section

When referring to a lead generation landing page ,a "hero section" is a prominent, visually impactful section usually found towards the top of the homepage. Its purpose is to grab the visitor's attention and provide a strong introduction to the site's content or purpose. Pingtree has many templates of hero images, styles, structures and formats. Once added, you may replace the content and images with your own material.

Features

In Pingtree, the features section contains a variety of unique content ideas geared towards gaining more of the lead's attention. This can be done through the use of different cards, descriptions, unique content, calls to action and more.

Steps

Similar to the Features section, the Steps section contain different content to capture the lead's attention. This section specifically focuses on chronological step-related content to represent your brand.

Form Container

The Form Container section allows users to generate a visually appealing area for a form to live within rather than having Input or Dropdown elements being displayed on a blank canvas. This provides structure and composition to a landing page.

Testimonials

Testimonials section gives users their choice of templates to add in customer reviews and testimonials giving enhanced credence to your brand.

Logo Clouds

Another type of Feature section, Logo Clouds are designed to have users add in other brands they're working with or have worked with or serviced. This section once again provides an option for users to promote their brand recognition.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions contains a few different template styles commonly seen within the lead generation industry to input common customer questions surrounding your business and brand.

Footers

Similar to Headers, Pingtree offers multiple Footer section layouts and will typically contain CTA's, links to other pages such as privacy pages, terms and conditions, about us pages, opt out pages etc... The footer will also regularly contain specific copyright language any other legal requirements to ensure your page is compliant.

Thank You Pages and Offer Wall Pages

These last two sections will be discussed further in the Thank You Page and Offer Wall documentation however these each contain theme templates for how you want to structure your thank you pages and offer wall. There a few styles and structures for each providing you with great flexibility to display content for the users after they complete your form.

Elements in Funnel Builder Forms

As mentioned before in your funnel builder form editor, you will have two sets of Elements, Form Elements and Step Elements

Form Elements

Form elements contain the following:

Step Element

The step element lets users add in a new step into their form flow. A step can contain additional step elements within it. Each step will appear to the end user as a new page of the offer.

Node Condition

Node conditions let users choose other nodes that exist within the overall form flow. These can be added after a step in your funnel builder.

Termination Condition

Termination conditions are a type of step that can be added which will indicate the end of lead journey. There are multiple termination options:

  • Exit URL: Route the lead to a separate URL - You can assign this action to act as a redirection in the same page or as a leave behind page

  • Offer Wall: Route leads to an offer wall page you have built in your funnel builder

  • Thank You Page: Route leads to a Thank You Page you have built in your funnel builder (This will work with Thank You Page - Sold, Thank You Page - Unsold, and Custom Thank You Pages

  • Best Offer: Similar to the offer wall route, this option will direct to the top offer wall click listing option rather than to the entire offer wall.

  • Other Pages: Route leads to a specific "Other" page that you have built in your funnel builder

  • Response Redirection URL: If a buyer is providing a redirect URL in their API response to your lead sale, you may choose this option which will allow the lead to redirect to their specified domain. *NOTE: This has to be mapped properly in the endpoint
